Schedule of events
9:00 – 10:00am Welcome and panel of Student Affairs professionals
This moderated panel discussion will focus on the topic of “Building Your Career in Student Affairs.” Entry-level, mid-level, and senior student affairs practitioners/educators will discuss the field of student affairs, their jobs, and their professional backgrounds.
10:00 – 10:45am Faculty Panel: Considerations in Choosing a Graduate Program
This moderated panel discussion will focus on what prospective graduate students should consider in deciding where to apply for admission to a student affairs master’s program. The application process and important deadlines will also be discussed. Faculty from three diverse institution types; Kent State University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and University of Pittsburgh, will comprise the panel.
10:45am – 12:15pm Graduate Program Recruitment Fair
Participating graduate programs will provide information about their programs. You will have the opportunity to ask questions of faculty and graduate students as you make decisions about where you would like to apply. Participating universities include:

12:15 – 1:00pm Graduate Student Panel: Making the Most of Graduate School
Current graduate students will discuss the challenges and rewards of pursuing a master’s degree in student affairs during this moderated panel. Learn how these students balance their academic work with graduate assistantships and other responsibilities. Edinboro University will participate on the panel.
