compiling the NCATE 2008 Exhibit Room, we determined that there are materials
for which privacy is required. Examples of password protected materials included
in the BlackBoard Exhibit Room are:
General – course syllabi
Standard 1 – Samples of candidate work
Standard 2 – File of student complaints and the unit’s response
Standard 5 – Samples and summary of faculty scholarly activities; Samples of
faculty evaluations
Standard 6 – Faculty vita
Note for Board of
Examiners
It is likely to be
time consuming for the Board of Examiners to locate materials referenced within
various reports. Therefore, we uploaded the materials mentioned in reports to
our NCATE web site and created hyperlinks from the documents, allowing the
examiners to locate the referenced items with one mouse click. Thus, examiners
are not likely to find materials not mentioned in reports from our web site.
