  • Scroll down until you see "FTP at SRU" and click on the link.
  • Find the directory where you would like to save the file, and click "Save."  For example, you could save the file to c:\temp as shown below.  Be sure to remember where you saved the file.  EXAMPLE:

    Example:  abc1234@rockmail.sru.edu
If you don't know your user ID, you can go to the campus directory at http://www.sru.edu/pages/109.asp and search for your name.
  • Under the "Personal Identification" icon, enter information as it applies to you.
  • After you have finished, click on "OK."
  • You may now click on the "File" menu and "Check your mail."

IV.  Troubleshooting

If you get an error message, make sure all of your information is correct.  A common mistake is having machine and user names in capital letters.  Make sure all of these are lower case.  Also, be sure to use your full name (if your name is "Steven Smith," be sure to type in "steven.smith" --NOT "steve.smith" or "Steven.smith").
If you require further assistance, please call the Help Desk at (724) 0738-4357.
