Medical Outreach

Contact: Gretchen Schumacher

Slippery Rock University is sponsoring a medical outreach in the Dominican Republic, March 3-12, 2005.  RN-BSN students and MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner students will provide primary care and community education to rural villages.  Support for the humanitarian effort is needed for medicines and supplies. Your tax deductible donation can help rural Dominicans.  In addition, contributions are being accepted to defer the cost of travel for the students.

Tax deductible donations will be accepted through the Slippery Rock University Foundation.  The Foundation is a 501-C3 non-profit organization.   On your check made payable to the “SRU Foundation”, indicate your preference for money usage.
