NASW (National Association of Social Workers) sponsored legislation for social work title protection on July 10, 2008 which became law in the state of Pennsylvania under Act 68 in September 8, 2009.
NSAW is currently proposing to the Pennsylvania State Legislature Practice Program and Licensing for the Bachelor of Social Work Degree.
