Wondering what activities are available for individuals with disabilities in the Slippery Rock area?

The Center on Disability and Health is where you will find that information!

The Center on Disability and Health exists to provide information about local programs designed to improve the health, fitness, or wellness of people with disabilities. On this site, you will find information about some of the adapted physical activity programs that exist at Slippery Rock University. Services include physical education, fitness, aquatics, horseback riding, and more. Currently, the center serves over 170 children and adults each week, and employs two full-time faculty and 10 undergraduate students! Explore the links to the left to learn about each program at Slippery Rock.

The Center was made possible through a grant from the Center for Disease Control. Our appreciation is extended to congressman Phil English and his staff for helping us to secure funding for this project.
