June Edwards
Bio
June Edwards is an assistant professor in the Slippery Rock University Art Department teaching Design and various other studio courses. Her Master’s degree is in painting and she continues to produce and exhibit work in painting as well as mixed media and digital images. June grew up on the south side of Pittsburgh and was always impressed with the towers and bridges in the area. She is currently using digital photography to focus on the design and on the surface textures of these structures. She worked in the Graphics Department of Arthur Andersen in New York City from 1984 to 1997. She exhibits her work in galleries around Pittsburgh and at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in New York City.
