I believe you'll be excited about the opportunities we offer. Last year, over two hundred of our students presented, exhibited or performed original works or research at regional, state, national and international professional meetings. Fourteen students presented in Poland. Several students presented and helped host the Fourth International Congress of Sciences Applied to Soccer in Costa Rica. Three students presented research to an undergraduate symposium sponsored by the U.S. Congress. Two undergraduates presented at the National Research Conference in Salt Lake City. All three research awards presented to students at the Pennsylvania State System Philosophy Conference were won by SRU students. Another 145 Slippery Rock University students attended professional conferences with faculty colleagues. These types of real life experiences are the opportunities that provide a link between the classroom and the world beyond our campus. Last year, we placed 95% of our graduates in either a graduate/professional program or on to the first step of their career.
