Robert Leffingwell Scholarship
The scholarship honors the late Dr. Robert Leffingwell,
who joined the Communication Department faculty in
1983. Dr. Leffingwell specialized in film analysis,
media criticism, radio and general broadcast production,
along with an avid movie collector and hosting a weekly
radio show.
The scholarship was established to recognize communication
juniors and seniors with a minimum of 3.25 QPA in
their major and who intend to pursue studies in
Dr. Leffingwell's areas of interest. Each winner
receives $500 to further their educational or career
goals.
Scholarship deadline is February 15, 2005.

General Communication Scholarship
The scholarship is given to one incoming Freshman
Communication major who graduated with at least a
3.25 high school GPA and who has demonstrated strong
interest in Communication. Applicants must include
a portfolio of communication-related work reflecting
activities performed while in high school with their
applications.
Scholarship deadline is February 15, 2005.
