Academic Year Scholarship

The Dance Department will offer one dance major a $1,000.00 scholarship. Freshman, sophomores and juniors are eligible for this award. The money will be applied to the student’s fall and spring tuition ($500.00 each semester). Receiving scholarship monies will be determined by successful completion of the previous semester (3.0 Quality Point Average – Dance and a 2.7 Overall), and involvement in dance department events and activities to be reviewed and approved by the Scholarship Committee. Items such as class attendance, participation and work ethic will also be considered. All scholarship awards will be announced by April 30th of each year. In order to be considered for an academic year scholarship students must:

• complete and submit this application, due at least one week before your scheduled audition.
• participate in a scholarship audition
