Summer Study Scholarship

Two scholarships of up to $500.00 for summer study for current SRU students (freshmen through seniors). Money will be directly applied to the tuition of an approved summer workshop. If the tuition is less than $500.00, the scholarship committee will determine if additional money should be awarded for other expenses, such as housing and/or transportation. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate fully in all aspects of the summer workshop they attend. A brief report describing the workshop and the benefits gained must be submitted at the start of the fall semester.All scholarship awards will be announced by April 30th of each year.
Criteria:

• 3.0 QPA in Dance and 2.7 QPA overall.
• Assessment of involvement in Dance Department activities and events (student participation record will be consulted).
• demonstrated maturity and professionalism.
• complete and submit this application, due at least one week before your scheduled audition.
• participate in a scholarship audition.
