 It is with
enormous sadness that we announce the passing of Dr.
David D. Dixon, our beloved friend and colleague, who died July 16,
2008.
On July 21
hundreds of David's loved ones--family, friends,
colleagues, and students--lovingly accompanied his
remains to West Liberty Cemetery. There he was
laid to rest in a beautiful spot on a lovely hill among
Civil War veterans and within sight of the SRU campus.
