For
Windows & Macintosh Users (On-Campus
and Off-Campus)
Faculty, staff, and students
have a RockMAIL Web Email account. RockMAIL allows you to check or edit your SRU
email account on the Web. You will need to know your SRU user name and network
password before logging on.
Directions for
Logging on to SRU Web Mail:
- Type the following address in your
browser's address bar: rockmail.sru.edu/exchange
- A logon window will appear, and ask for
your user name. Type in "srunet/your network username".
- Students:
Your username is your three initials and four randomly generated numbers that
were assigned to you upon first enrolling at SRU. If your name is John Casey
Doe, and your randomly generated numbers are 8721, then your username would be:
jcd8721 (If you did not report your middle name when applying to SRU,
or you don't have a middle initial, then put an x for your middle initial.) Your
username can be found on the back of your student ID.
- Faculty and Staff:
Your user name is your first name, period, and your last name. If your first
name is William and the last name is Smith, then your username would look like
this: william.smith
- Type in your network password in the
password field.
Your initial password is your six digit
birthday. If you were born on December 25, 1982, your password would be
122582. However, you are required to change your initial password at
first logon. Remember, your password will expire every 100 days (the system will
prompt you with a reminder before the password expires).
- DO NOT
check the "Save this password" box because anyone who knows your user name would
be able to access your email account.
- Click "OK."
You will now have access to
your RockMAIL email account.
