What Is My Username?
If you were enrolled in classes before Spring 2003:
Your network username is the first initial, middle initial, and last initial of your name followed by the last 4 digits of our social security number.
For example: If your name is John Casey Doe and your social security number is 123456789, your username will be: jcd6789
Note: If you did not report your middle name when applying to SRU, or you don't have a middle initial, put an "x" for our middle initial.
If were first enrolled in classes after Spring 2003:
Your username should be on the back of your ID Card. If you don't have an ID Card, please click here to look up your SRU email address. Your username is the first seven digits of your SRU email address.
For example: If your email address is jcd6789@sru.edu, your username will be: jcd6789
What Is My Password?
Your initial password is your six digit birthday.
For example: If your birthday is December 25, 1982, your password will be: 122582
Changing Your Password
You are required to change your initial password at first logon.
Note: Your srunet password expires every 100 days for security purposes, so you will need to create a new one. Your new password must have between 6-8 characters, and it must be different from your last three passwords. For more detailed information on changing your password, click here.
If you have forgotten your password, please stop by the Help Desk in the basement of the Bailey Library (Rooom A-11) with a photo ID. We can not reset passwords without a proper ID.
