What are the "H" and "I" Drives?
"H" Drive - For students, faculty, and staff
"I" Drive - For faculty and students
Types of Access
Two types of access are possible: "Read" and "Write."

Windows 95, 98, 2000, or XP AND
Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

Note:
If you want to view the files in the I: Drive, you do not need to check "Open as
web folders."
A logon window will appear asking for your username and password. Type in your network username and password in the appropriate field. The domain is SRUNET. EXAMPLE: |

Note to
Microsoft XP Users:Before entering your username, you must type "srunet/" (without the quotation marks). A new window should open or appear in your start bar. You are now in the H: (or I:, depending on which you selected). You can save your files to this window. To Save Files: If you have "write" permission and want to save a file to the H:, I: or W: Drive, check the "Open as Web Folder." If you want to save your file to the H: or I: Drive and your browser does not support web folders, call us at 724.738.4357 for advice on an alternative method (FTP). EXAMPLE: |
