SciFinder Scholar Registration
SciFinder Scholar is no longer accessible via software on the Citrix server. Instead, a web interface usable on any computer with updated browsers is now accessible.
It is necessary to register with SciFinder Scholar before using this feature for the first time. Any subsequent uses of SciFinder Scholar (on or off-campus through Slippery Rock Unversity) will make use of this login.
To begin registration, click on the following link and follow the prompt.
You only have to input information in the fields designated with an asterisk (*). Please note that you must use your SRU e-mail address to register, as the service will only recognize Slippery Rock University e-mail accounts.
Following registration, an activation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail account you specified. Follow the hyperlink contained in the e-mail to activate your SciFinder Scholar registration.
The username and password submitted to SciFinder should now allow you to log in to SciFinder Scholar when on-campus at Slippery Rock University, or off-campus through the KLN hub, which prompts you to input your SRU Login and password to use Bailey Library databases while on an off-campus computer.
When using SciFinder Scholar through the KLN Hub (Off-Campus), you may be told that there is a security certificate error. You may continue past this error to access SciFinder Scholar.
