Registration Information for Pi Delta Phi

The Gamma Sigma Chapter of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honorary, has been an SRU organization since 1963. Since 1906, when the first chapter was established on the Berkeley campus of the University of California, the honorary has been growing.  Pi Delta Phi has been in existence as a national organization since 1925.  The primary aim of this honorary is to recognize excellence in French studies.  Members also communicate French language and culture to others by tutoring and by sponsoring French cultural events.  Neophytes are initiated twice annually and pay a one-time fee of $25.  To be eligible to join this honorary, the student must have completed French 300, must maintain a 3.0 average in French courses, and must have an overall QPA of 2.9.
