The SRU Brass Ensemble , directed by Brian Meixner, offers two concerts per academic year, performs for Music Department Performance Hours, and performs for the Music Department's annual "Prism Concert". The Ensemble is a diverse group which performs in a variety of instrumentations, ranging from a full twenty-six member brass band, to trombone and tuba-euphonium quartets. Concerts are free and open to the public.
