Eugene L. Boyer Scholarship

Criteria for consideration includes the following:
1. Parks & Recreation/Environmental Education major specializing in Park and Resource
Management, Resort Recreation Management/Tourism, or Therapeutic Recreation
2. Junior or Senior earning a minimum of 45 credits (Fall 2008)
3. Minimum of a 3.25 QPA
4. Proven academic achievement
5. Involvement in departmental programs and activities
6. Financial need

Award: $500 for the 2008-2009 Academic Year

Application is by letter to: Bruce G. Boliver, Chairperson, PREE Department. Letter of application highlighting their qualifications as a Boyer Scholar and an essay (no more than three pages) expressing how their education and experiences at SRU are preparing them to achieve their career goals. Deadline for application is Tuesday, February 26, 2008.
