IVONA KEMP NATURAL LIVING SCHOLARSHIP

Through the generosity of the Foundation for Natural Living, the Ivona Kemp Natural Living Scholarship shall be established within the Slippery Foundation, Inc. in memory of Ivona Kemp, and in recognition of her sincere interest in the natural systems found within the world’s environment.

The Ivona Kemp Natural Living Scholarship shall be available to students enrolled within the Master of Science in Sustainable Systems Degree program at Slippery Rock University.

The amount of the annual scholarship shall be $1,000.00.

Criteria:
1) Applicants must be approved for degree candidacy (students must have successfully completed between 6 and 12 credit hours in a declared program of study)

2) A minimum cumulative point average of 3.25

3) Evidence of significant involvement within one or more of the University’s environmental programs

4) Potential for significant contribution to the field

5) Financial need

Application:
1) A letter of application, signed by the applicant, and addressing the matter of the applicant’s financial need

2) A one-page typed statement by the applicant addressing his/her objectives upon graduation and potential contributions to sustainable systems

3) Current University transcript will be obtained by the selection committee

4) Personal interviews of finalists may be requested by the selection committee
