Courses and Requirements for the
Master of Science in Sustainable Systems

To achieve the goals of the program, students take a professional core that integrates the aforementioned three areas and also choose an elective course to further focus their interests. These academic courses include exercises in creative design and problem solving as well as laboratory and field experiences. Faculty with expertise in each of the areas are currently dedicated to the program with supporting faculty teaching additional courses.

The Masters of Science in Park and Resource Management program is a 30 credit hour interdisciplinary graduate program with the option of a thesis or a six-credit internship. Students in the Sustainable Living program track are required to take 27 credit hours of professional core courses and one 3 credit hour professional elective. The following curriculum is effective for those students entering the program as of Fall 2008.
