Biosketch 

 

Dr. Billek-Sawhney has been a member of the SRU PT faculty since 2000. Prior to coming to SRU, she was the Program Director for Butler County Community College’s PTA Program and Director of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She maintains active clinical practice on a regular basis in the areas of adult and geriatric rehabilitation, acute care, and home care physical therapy. She is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association, and Southwest District. Her clinical and research interests are in the area of compliance, patient education, outcomes, and balance.
