MANOCHA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP
The Manocha School of Business Scholarship is establishd and endowed within the Slippery Rock University Foundation, Inc. by Dr. Dineshnandini Manocha for the benefit of students majoring in an academic discipline within the School of Business at Slippery Rock University. The Manocha School of Business Scholarship shall be available to full-time students pursuant to the following order of preference:
- Female students from an Asian country with a major within the School of Business.
- Students from other non - U. S. countries with a major within the School of Business.
- All students with a declared major within the School of Business.
The amount of the annual award shall be equal to the amount of annual interest income earned through investment. Maximum award amount shall be $1,500 for an academic year.
Criteria
- Academic major within the School of Business.
- Enrolled Full - Time.
- Member of the junior class ( A minimum of 64 credits earned at SRU at the time of application ).
- 3.25 or higher cumulative point average for courses completed at SRU.
- Evidence of financial need.
Application Procedure
- A completed application form ( available in the School of Business Department, Office of Financial Aid, and Office of International Studies ).
- A letter of application containing a written statement ( between 500 and 1,000 words ) justifying the applicant's candidacy for the award.
- Current academic transcript ( will be obtained by the Manocha School of Business Scholarship Committee ).
- Financial need data ( will be obtained by the Manocha School of Business Scholarship Committee).
- Three recent letters of reference ( one is required from a member of the School of Business faculty sent to the Manocha School of Business Scholarship Committee.
